Job summary

The Entertainer in Banbury is recruiting an accredited MHE Instructor to deliver, test and mentor colleagues in the safe use of MHE. You will issue certificates, pass details to site admin and support ongoing development within the team.

This full-time, permanent role operates on a 5-from-7 shift pattern, 15:00–23:00, with a salary up to £29,859.21 per year plus a 7% shift premium and a comprehensive benefits package.

• A current MHE trainer qualification.
• Previous warehouse experience with Counterbalance minimum licence and Reach, VNA & PPT licences.
• Flexible in approach to meet business needs while maintaining internal/external relationships.

Responsibilities

• Deliver MHE training in line with accrediting body and onsite guidelines.
• Be an ambassador for learning, leading by example and providing training & support to all learners with on-the-job coaching.
• Keep up to date with regulations and legislation relevant to MHE and H&S, ensuring practices are aligned within the business.
• Ensure all training is evaluated, recorded and maintained as appropriate.

Are you an accredited MHE Instructor? Are you known for being a ‘people person’? Have you been training on a recent and regular basis and can hit the ground running?

If your answer is yes, then we want you to be part of our established MHE team at The Entertainer in Banbury! You’ll instruct, test, monitor, reassess and mentor colleagues in the safe use of MHE and create all associated documentation, issue certificates of qualification and pass details to site admin team.

This is a full time, permanent position, where you’ll be working on an any 5 from 7 shift pattern. The hours of work will be 15:00 – 23:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Deliver MHE training in line with the accrediting body association and onsite guidelines
• Be an ambassador for learning, leading by example whilst providing training & support to all learners and continuous on the job coaching
• Keep up to date with the latest regulations & legislation relevant to MHE and H&S, whilst ensuring new practices are aligned within the business
• Ensure all individual training is evaluated, recorded and maintained as appropriate

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A current MHE trainer qualification and actively training on a recent and regular basis – consideration will also be given to experienced MHE operators who hold valid licences and would like to undertake their trainer qualification
• Previous warehouse experience and holder of Counterbalance (minimum), Reach, VNA & PPT licences
• Flexible in your approach to ensure business needs are met and exceeded, whilst building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong & accurate administration skills along with MS Office – Excel and Powerpoint
