Join to apply for the Metrology - Manufacturing Engineer role at Rolls-Royce.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on the Global Combat Air Programme, a multinational initiative to develop a sixth-generation stealth fighter. You will be responsible for developing and delivering metrology capabilities across novel engine components, working closely with digital manufacturing teams and other stakeholders to develop automated metrology programming using Model Based Definitions.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Engaging in Design for Manufacture to utilize Model Based Definition for measurement processes.
2. Ensuring effective measurement system analysis within Rolls-Royce and supply chain facilities.
3. Leading the selection, acquisition, and commissioning of new verification equipment.
4. Contributing to global communities of practice in metrology and product verification.

Qualifications required include:

• An engineering degree or apprenticeship with a deep understanding of manufacturing measurement, preferably aligned with NMSA standards.
• Experience with digital measurement programming software such as Polyworks, Zeiss Calypso, or Zeiss Inspect.
• High computer literacy and experience with CAD software, preferably Siemens NX.
• A strong technical engineering background with broad manufacturing experience, including design for manufacture and inspection planning.
• UK nationality and the ability to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.
