Job summary

Magna International, a leading global automative supplier, seeks a Metrology Engineer to maintain and improve CMM/GOM outputs. You will lead metrology activities for dimensional reviews, NPI launches, and continuous improvement across the business, applying PDCA and QC disciplines.

Responsibilities include SPC analysis, fixture design, and ensuring tools are up-to-date. The role demands strong analytical skills, GD&T expertise, and IATF 16949 familiarity, with eligibility to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Quality experience in a high-volume automotive manufacturing environment.
• Strong GD&T understanding and CMM/GOM programming.
• Experience with PPAP/APQP processes and quality core tools.
• Root cause analysis and data-driven problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Program CMM/GOM software and maintain latest updates.
• Coordinate measurement assessment and fixture design for CMM/GOM.
• Lead dimensional reviews and support NPI Launch metrology.
• Perform SPC analysis using Minitab and other tools.
• Develop and maintain metrology equipment and data outputs.
• Promote continuous improvement and support QMS across functions.
