Job summary

Owen Daniels is seeking a Metrology Engineer to join a leading automotive manufacturing team in Minworth, near Birmingham. You will create and edit measurement programs with PC-DMIS, inspect parts using handheld devices, and support NPI, tooling, manufacturing and quality teams with accurate data and reports.

The role requires strong CMM operation skills and PC-DMIS experience, with a focus on delivering precise dimensional data and actionable guidance to the wider team.

Qualifications

• Experience with CMM operation including setting and programming.
• PC-DMIS experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit measurement programs using PC-DMIS software
• Support NPI, Tooling, Manufacturing and Quality teams with accurate data and reports
• Perform dimensional inspection using handheld measuring equipment
• Analyse measurement results and provide technical guidance
