The Role

Purpose of the role

You’ll coordinate and manage various aspects of our marketing activities, online and off. This includes managing our social media, website, and events, from strategy-setting to execution and development, all with the goal of building our brand and increasing our reach on a global scale.

Team

Our Growth team comprises passionate/expert people in sales, marketing, and video teams. Together, we tell the Laminar story to the world and ensure we’re in the best possible position to continue developing long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers.

Your overall leader will be our storyteller, who manages our content and branding.

Your top 3 objectives

1.Develop our marketing engine that keeps Laminar at the very forefront of the market

2.Define the state-of-the-art and push beyond the norm instead of relying on ‘go-to’ marketing practices

3.Make Laminar the most loved and admired brand in our industry.

Your top 5 responsibilities

1.Project manage content – Generate or coordinate the creation and distribution of content, both written and visual for our website, social media and sales activities. Ensure all marketing projects are delivered on time, to a high quality.

2.Connect our marketing with sales and talent teams – Support the marketing team’s role as an “internal agency” for sales and recruitment teams to ensure our marketing meets their needs. Join us in developing a seamless lead-generation approach.

3.Lead and develop our events, ensuring we maintain an active and regular schedule of events that entertain and educate our team and guests.

4.Design, manage and improve processes –Ensure that our marketing engine is well turned and continuously getting better.

- Mastery: A rounded knowledge of marketing disciplines and techniquesand a mastery of organisation - developing these into processes that deliver consistent results

- Communication: A confident and clear communicator, able to work with subject matter experts to extract information related to complex subjects and convey these to a wide audience in a simple, easy-to-understand way

- Leadership: You can manage yourself and organise others to deliver projects

- Impact: A track record of managing marketing activities that delivered real impact

Nice to Have (If you don’t have it now, you will after joining)-

- Mastery: You have a depth of expertise on a specific aspect of marketing such as digital, social media or branding

- Communication: A master in the art of influencing and persuasion with an extensive network in the construction and tech start-up industries

- Leadership: You have project managed complex projects
