Job summary

AusNet is seeking a Metering Service Administrator in Beaconsfield to support meter data management, settlement processes and customer inquiries. You’ll work within the Data Management team to ensure data accuracy for National Electricity Market settlements and billing.

The role offers exposure to operations planning, customer outcomes and cross-functional collaboration across field technicians and market participants, with emphasis on timely, accurate reporting and strong service delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in AEMO’s Market Settlement processes.
• Understanding of the Metering Provider and the Metering Data Provider’s market obligations.
• Experience handling customer enquiries and escalations in a customer-centric role.
• Experience working with field technicians or similar.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality metering data to customer and market timeframes.
• Perform settlement extracts in line with AEMO requirements.
• Investigate and resolve metering data anomalies.
• Support customers and channel partners with enquiries.
• Manage registration and commissioning activities.
• Respond to NMI status enquiries from market participants.
• Maintain polling systems to ensure validated data distribution.
• Provide administrative support to achieve KPI targets.
• Build strong customer relationships through quality service.
• Contribute to a strong Mission Zero safety culture.
