Responsibilities

This is a full-time role for a Metering Installation Technician working across the UK at customer sites. You will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining metering systems. Day-to-day tasks include meter installations (electricity sub-meters), communication equipment, cabling, diagnosing issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and customer service. The technician will work closely with both clients and team members to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Electrotechnical Certification Scheme (ECS) ID and competence card holder for electrotechnical operatives
• Experience in electricity meter installations, current transformers
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Knowledge of Modbus, LoRaWAN, Low Power RF, IoT Connectivity
• Effective communication and customer service skills
• Experience in cabling and installation procedures
• Focus on customer satisfaction and ability to address client concerns promptly
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
• Ability to work independently and efficiently on-site is a must
