Job summary

Asper Recruitment's Dundee-based client, a specialist architectural metalwork contractor, is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to lead installation teams on high-end projects. This hands-on role requires the supervisor to work on-site and to manage squads of 2–8 operatives, ensuring timely delivery and quality workmanship.

The successful candidate will have time-served experience in architectural metalwork/steelwork, strong supervision skills, and familiarity with RAMS, QA, and liaising

Qualifications

• Time-served architectural metalwork/steelwork/facade installation experience.
• Proven site supervision experience on high-end projects.
• Familiar with RAMS, toolbox talks, permits and QA procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead 2-8 person installation teams on balustrades, handrails, stairs and feature metalwork.
• Set out, QA, and ensure architectural finish to project specs.
• Liaise with main contractor to coordinate works and approvals.

SITE SUPERVISOR REQUIRED

My client are a specialist architectural metalwork contractor based in Dundee.

Seeking experienced Working Site Supervisor to lead installation teams.

Hands-on role - you work on the tools AND lead the squad.

Role:

Lead 2-8 man teams installing balustrades, handrails, staircases, feature metalwork, secondary steel Setting out, QA, architectural finish - mill to mirror HSEQ - RAMS, toolbox talks, permits Liaison with main contractor

Essential Tickets:

CSCS Black Card (Manager) or Gold Supervisor Card SMSTS / SSSTS (SMSTS preferred) IPAF 3a & 3b, PASMA, First Aid Full UK Driving Licence Slinger / Banksman advantageous

Background:

Time-served architectural metalwork / steelwork / facade installer Proven site supervision experience on high-end projects

Package:

PAYE: / hour + 2.5 hrs paid travel per day when local & travelling Overtime + 39 hr week when local + holiday + pension + van / fuel card / phone / hour DOE + lodge allowance when away Stable private company, long-term work, quality projects Genuine work/life balance - 50% local with 3-day weekend
