Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a prestigious accident repair centre in Derby for a MET Technician. You will work on high-end vehicles, join a skilled team and receive ongoing training with a focus on quality workmanship and EV knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience as an MET Technician or similar role.
• Experience in a main dealership or accident repair centre, ideally with premium brands.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and trim knowledge.
• ATA qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles to a high standard, ensuring quality of work.
• Complete mechanical, electrical, and trim strip and refit work.
• Diagnose vehicle issues accurately and communicate findings.
• Conduct vehicle strip and refit work with precision.
• Assist in developing EV knowledge and maintain compliance with relevant standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues on larger repairs to meet deadlines.
• Report additional work requirements to the Bodyshop Advisor.
• Maintain accurate work documentation and good housekeeping practices.
