Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is representing an established accident repair centre in Daventry seeking an experienced MET Technician to join their workshop team. The role is permanent with a competitive salary dependent on experience.

You will perform high-quality vehicle repairs to manufacturer standards, strip and refit components, and collaborate with estimators to maintain efficient workflow. IMI/ATA qualifications are advantageous but not essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an MET Technician or in a similar accident repair role.
• IMI or ATA qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence is preferred.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality vehicle repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards.
• Stripping and refitting mechanical, electrical, and trim components.
• Carrying out body and panel repairs, including alignment and structural work.
• Carrying out wheel alignment checks and adjustments when necessary.
• Collaborating with estimators, vehicle damage assessors, and the production team to promote efficient workflow.
