Job summary

HP4 Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced MET Technician for a full-time, permanent role in Dunfermline. The role covers mechanical, electrical and trim work on accident-damaged vehicles, with diagnostics and rebuild duties to return vehicles to pre-accident condition.

You will join a busy workshop offering uncapped bonus potential, with a strong emphasis on quality workmanship and safety standards. NVQ3 or equivalent is desirable, and a competitive salary is on offer.

Qualifications

• Experience in MET/Vehicle Technician roles in bodyshop/accident repair.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and trim systems.
• Ability to diagnose faults and carry out strip, fit and rebuild work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MET stripping and refitting of vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults due to accident damage.
• Remove and refit components to support panel repairs and bodywork restoration.
• Complete vehicle diagnostics, fault finding and system checks.
• Rebuild vehicles ensuring correct fitment and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of repair work.
