Job summary

Adam Curtis Specialist Automotive Recruitment Consultancy Ltd is seeking an experienced MET Technician for a busy accident repair centre in Dartford. The role involves removing and refitting mechanical, electrical and trim components on accident-damaged vehicles, with a focus on safety, accuracy and efficiency.

You will work with the bodyshop team to ensure repairs meet manufacturer and industry standards, with a 47.5-hour week and no requirement to work Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Previous MET Technician experience in an accident repair centre or bodyshop.
• ATA accreditation or manufacturer training would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Removing and refitting mechanical, electrical and trim components.
• Identifying additional damage or required parts during dismantling.
• Carrying out diagnostic checks where required.
• Reassembling vehicles following body and paint repairs.
• Ensuring vehicle systems and safety features operate correctly.
• Completing work in accordance with manufacturer and industry standards.
• Maintaining accurate records of completed work.
• Working efficiently to meet agreed repair deadlines.
• Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working area.
