Job summary

The Vella Group in Daventry is hiring a skilled MET Technician to restore vehicles to their pre-accident condition within a modern, well-equipped repair centre. You will dismantle, repair and reassemble vehicles, applying manufacturer methods and using advanced diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

• ATA, IMI or equivalent industry-recognised qualification preferred but not essential.
• Strong mechanical, electrical and diagnostic knowledge with attention to detail.
• Experience carrying out vehicle strip, fit and rebuild to manufacturer standards.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out removal, repair and refitting of mechanical, electrical and trim components.
• Perform vehicle diagnostics, calibration and four-wheel alignment checks where required.
• Repair to manufacturer methods and company procedures.
• Work with latest vehicle technologies including electric and hybrid vehicles.
• Identify additional damage and communicate to the repair team.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment in line with H&S and COSHH.
