Job summary

The Vella Group in Great Harwood, Lancashire, is seeking a hands-on MET Technician to restore vehicles post-accident. You will dismantle and reassemble mechanical, electrical, and trim parts and support four-wheel alignment and safety protocols.

Required qualifications include an IMI/ATA MET Technician credential (or equivalent), plus proven accident repair experience and a full UK driving licence. EV knowledge is a plus and you will join a collaborative team on a full-time, on-site basis.

Qualifications

• IMI/ATA MET Technician qualification (or equivalent experience in a Bodyshop).
• Proven experience in accident repair and vehicle rebuilds.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of electric vehicles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Dismantling and reassembling mechanical, electrical, and trim components with precision and care.
• Performing four-wheel alignment checks and repairs using manufacturer-recommended methods.
• Ensuring vehicles are protected throughout the repair process.
• Collaborating with Technicians, Vehicle Damage Assessors, and Production teams to ensure efficient workflows.
• Adhering to health and safety standards, including COSHH and PPE usage.
• Working with electric vehicles and staying updated on emerging vehicle technologies.
