Job summary

The Vella Group Repair Centres in Great Harwood, Lancashire, is hiring a skilled MET Technician for an on-site, full-time role. You will dismantle and reassemble mechanical, electrical, and trim components, perform four-wheel alignments, and ensure safe, high-quality repairs.

The team values precision and safety; IMI/ATA MET qualification or equivalent is preferred, along with a UK driving licence and experience in accident repair.

Qualifications

• IMI/ATA MET Technician qualification (or equivalent)
• Experience in accident repair and vehicle rebuilds
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of electric vehicles is a plus

Responsibilities

• Dismantle and reassemble mechanical, electrical, and trim components with precision
• Perform four-wheel alignment checks and repairs using manufacturer-recommended methods
• Ensure vehicles are properly protected throughout the repair process
• Collaborate with Technicians, Vehicle Damage Assessors, and Production teams for efficient workflows
• Adhere to health and safety standards, including COSHH and PPE usage
• Work with electric vehicles and stay updated on emerging vehicle technologies
