The role offers a competitive salary up to £45,000, with a Monday to Friday 8:00am–5:00pm schedule, and 30 days holiday including bank holidays, plus additional long service days. Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a MET Technician in an accident repair or bodyshop environment.

Responsibilities

• Dismantling damaged vehicles following repair estimates and manufacturer repair methods.
• Removing and refitting mechanical, electrical, and trim components safely.
• Reassembling vehicles to manufacturer and company standards.
• Identifying additional damage or missing parts.
• Checking parts for accuracy and availability.
• Reconnecting and testing mechanical and electrical systems post-repair.
• Ensuring safety-critical components are fitted correctly and securely.
• Quality control checks before vehicles proceed to the next repair stage.
• Collaborating with estimators and workshop controllers.
• Maintaining a clean, safe working environment.
• Adhering to health & safety procedures and company policies.

Duties of the MET Technician:

• Dismantling damaged vehicles following repair estimates and manufacturer repair methods

• Good understanding of workshop health & safety procedures
• Capable of working effectively as part of a team
• Professional attitude and reliable work ethic
• IMI accreditation is preferred
• Familiarity with vehicle safety systems and modern accident repair techniques
