About the role

Dismantling and reassembling accident-damaged vehicles in line with manufacturers' specifications and to the high standards expected by our customers.

Key responsibilities
  • Carry out work detailed in estimate, removing damaged components from the vehicle in preparation for repair/paint work.
  • Refit components to restore the vehicle to pre-accident condition.
  • Deliver the highest standard of quality.
  • Meet manufacturers' and/or estimated repair times.
  • Report faults and defects noticed during work.
  • Accurately document components, materials, and consumables used.
  • Protect customer vehicles with covers and dust sheets.
  • Safeguard vehicles and contents during repair.
  • Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
  • Achieve company repair/refit times.
  • Record hours, components, materials, and consumables used.
  • Maintain wastage of materials within targets.
  • Prevent damage or loss of customer vehicles or contents.
  • Ensure safe and reliable use and maintenance of equipment with proper training.
Skills and experience
  • ATA / NVQ level 3 in MET.
  • Good H&S knowledge/awareness.
  • Relevant industry experience as a repair technician.
