Job description

MET Technician / MET Fitter

Our Motor Trade Client is an independent accident repair business based in Rochester, and they require an experienced MET Technician / Fitter to join their busy team of bodyshop professionals.

Salary and Working Hours

• Basic Salary: Up to £50,000 OTE
• Monday – Friday: Flexible working hours available (e.g., longer Mon - Thurs, early finish Friday)
• No regular weekend work

About the Role

Typical duties of a MET Technician for our client include:

• Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to high standards
• Utilizing skills, knowledge, and techniques required for success in a MET Technician / Fitter role
• Identifying additional repair work and liaising with the bodyshop advisor
• Communicating effectively with team members
• Carrying out quality controls

Candidate Requirements

• Fully qualified MET Technician to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• ATA qualification would be beneficial
• Experience as a MET Technician within an accident repair centre

Additional Information

For your hard work, you will be paid up to £45,000 with an OTE circa £50,000.
