Job description

Position: Vehicle Stripper / Fitter (MET Technician)

Location: Redhill, Surrey

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM (1-hour break, 30-minute lunch unpaid). Optional and agreed overtime if required and wanted.

Salary: Up to £23 per hour DOE + Quarterly and Annual Group Bonuses

About the Role

Our Motor Trade Client, a family-run Accident Repair Centre based in Redhill, is seeking an experienced MET Technician / Fitter to join their busy team of bodyshop professionals.

Typical Duties of a MET Technician

• Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to meet high standards.
• Applying the skills, knowledge, and techniques required for success in a MET Technician / Fitter role.
• Identifying additional repair work and liaising with the bodyshop advisor.
• Communicating effectively with team members.
• Carrying out quality control checks.

Your Experience as a MET Technician

• Fully qualified MET Technician to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• ATA qualification would be advantageous.
• Experience working as a MET Technician within an accident repair centre.

For your hard work, you will be paid up to £53,820 with an OTE circa £61,820.
