We're looking for a MET Technician to be part of our success story.

About The Role

Dismantling and reassembling accident-damaged vehicles in line with manufacturers' specifications and to the high standards expected by our customers.

Key responsibilities
  • Carry out work detailed in estimate, removing damaged components from the vehicle in preparation for repair/paint work.
  • Refit components to restore the vehicle to pre-accident condition.
  • Deliver the highest standard of quality.
  • Achieve manufacturers' and/or estimated repair times.
  • Report all faults and defects noticed during work.
  • Accurately document components, materials, and consumables used.
  • Protect customer vehicles with covers and dust sheets.
  • Safeguard the vehicle and contents during repair.
  • Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
  • Meet company repair/refit times.
  • Record hours, components, materials, and consumables used.
  • Keep wastage of materials within targets set by management.
  • Prevent damage or loss of customer vehicles or contents during repair.
  • Ensure safe and reliable use and maintenance of equipment, providing adequate training to operatives.
Skills And Experience
  • ATA / NVQ level 3 in MET
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Good H&S knowledge and awareness.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Relevant industry experience as a repair technician.
