You will perform mechanical, electrical and trim repairs on accident-damaged vehicles within a professional bodyshop, following manufacturer standards to deliver high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an MET Technician, ideally 2-3 years.
• Full UK driving licence with a maximum of 3 penalty points.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical, electrical and trim (MET) repairs on accident-damaged vehicles
• Analyse repair orders and complete work to high quality standards, ensuring customer satisfaction
• Remove, repair and refit vehicle components per manufacturer specifications
• Carry out strip and fit work efficiently with strong attention to detail
• Complete all repair work in accordance with job instructions and bodyshop processes
• Ensure quality control procedures are followed before vehicles are returned to customers
• Obtain authorisation for any additional parts required before fitting
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
• Ensure equipment operates correctly and report faults promptly
• Comply with BS10125 standards and all Health & Safety procedures

MET Technician: Join a prestigious main dealer as an MET Technician, carrying out mechanical, electrical and trim repairs on accident-damaged vehicles. • Pay / Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 basic
• OTE: £42,000 - £43,000

Job Type and Hours

• Job type: Permanent / Full-time
• Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 6:00pm (flexible hours)
• 42.5-hour working week
