Perfect Placement UK Ltd in Leicester is seeking an experienced MET Technician for our busy accident repair bodyshop. The role offers an hourly rate of £18.00-£23.00, with a 42.5-hour week and flexible working times.

You will carry out mechanical, electrical and trim repairs on accident-damaged vehicles, work with panel beaters and painters, and maintain high standards of workmanship in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous professional Bodyshop experience as an MET Technician is essential.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and trim repairs.
• Proven ability to strip and refit vehicle components.
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, professional and positive approach.

Responsibilities

• As an MET Technician, carry out mechanical, electrical and trim repairs on accident-damaged vehicles.
• Strip and refit vehicle components efficiently during the repair process.
• Remove and replace mechanical and electrical components.
• Work closely with Panel Beaters and Paint Technicians to ensure repairs progress efficiently.
• Identify and report any additional faults or issues.
• Complete all work safely and to a high standard.
• Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
