Job summary

Our client in Basingstoke is seeking a skilled MET Technician to join their established team. This role offers a clear progression path within a respected network of accident repair centres across the UK and includes ongoing training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous MET Technician experience in a busy bodyshop.
• Attention to detail and quality awareness.
• Strong communication skills and ability to multitask effectively.
• NVQ or ATA qualifications preferred, but time-served individuals will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs and bodywork on allocated vehicles.
• Dismantling, fault-finding, and diagnostic work.
• Reassemble vehicles with new parts as necessary.
• Carry out inspections and testing to ensure quality standards.
• Identify faults or work required for safety and efficiency.
• Road-test vehicles safely and legally to confirm roadworthiness.
