Job summary

HP4 RECRUITMENT LTD is seeking a skilled MET/Panel Technician in Luton to join a busy bodyshop. The role combines MET, panel and trim work to restore accident-damaged vehicles to pre-accident condition.

You will work on mechanical, electrical and structural repairs, ensuring safety and high quality workmanship. The ideal candidate will have experience in both MET and panel repair, a strong eye for detail, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as MET/Panel Technician in accident-damaged vehicles.
• Experience in both MET and panel repairs.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Automotive/bodyshop qualifications preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MET and panel repairs on a range of accident-damaged vehicles.
• Remove and refit mechanical, electrical and trim components.
• Repair, replace and align damaged body panels.
• Carry out stripping and refitting work as required.
• Assess vehicle damage and determine appropriate repair methods.
• Carry out welding and structural repairs where required.
• Work closely with other bodyshop technicians throughout the repair process.
• Ensure all repairs are completed safely and to a high standard.
• Complete repairs in line with manufacturer and industry standards.
• Accurately complete job cards and repair documentation.
