Our client is a well-established automotive business with a busy bodyshop in Redruth, and they are currently looking for an experienced MET / Panel Technician to join their growing team.
This role will involve a combination of mechanical, electrical and trim (MET) work alongside vehicle body and panel repairs, helping to return accident-damaged vehicles to their pre-accident condition.

Carry out MET and panel repairs on a range of accident-damaged vehicles
Remove and refit mechanical, electrical and trim components
Repair, replace and align damaged body panels
Carry out stripping and refitting work as required
Assess vehicle damage and determine appropriate repair methods
Carry out welding and structural repairs where required
Work closely with other bodyshop technicians throughout the repair process
Ensure all repairs are completed safely and to a high standard
Complete repairs in line with manufacturer and industry standards
Accurately complete job cards and repair documentation
Proven experience as an MET Technician, Panel Technician, Panel Beater or Bodyshop Technician
Experience across both MET and panel repair work
Strong knowledge of vehicle body repair techniques
Experience working with accident-damaged vehicles
Good understanding of vehicle structures and repair methods
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Relevant automotive/bodyshop qualifications are preferred
Full UK Driving Licence
£20 - £24 per hour, depending on experience
Monday to Friday working
