Job summary

Aramark UK is hiring a Mess Steward at Weeton Barracks, Preston. You will contribute to laundry, accommodation, mess-room, and janitorial services, while following health and safety standards.

This part-time role (16 hours/week, Mon–Fri with weekends) features 4-hour shifts and a competitive pay rate. No prior experience is essential as full training is provided; benefits include uniform, parking, meals on shift, and opportunities for career growth within a global catering and facilities

Qualifications

• Previous experience is great, but not essential – full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Serving food and beverages to customers.
• Cash handling and till operation.
• Occasional bar work.
• General housekeeping, including kitchen cleaning, pot wash, and dishwashing.
• Stocking up and stock rotation using FIFO.
• Report to line manager for feedback, complaints, or hazards.
