Mergers & Acquisitions Manager

Global Software Group

Location: Remote but must be able to travel across UK/Globally

Salary: Up to £90,000 plus excellent benefits

Integ are proud to be supporting a high-growth, global software group in hiring a best-in-class M&A Manager to join their Corporate Development team.

This is not a back-seat role.

You’ll be driving transactions from origination through to execution, identifying opportunities, shaping investment cases, running full diligence processes, and negotiating terms. You’ll work directly with the CFO and broader leadership team, playing a pivotal role in shaping the group’s global M&A strategy.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Proactively source and assess acquisition opportunities aligned to the group’s strategic goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with founders, investors, and M&A advisers to generate deal flow.
  • Develop business cases, valuation models, and financial analysis to support investment decisions.
  • Manage the due diligence process across legal, tax, commercial, and financial workstreams.
  • Lead internal discussions with cross-functional teams including finance, product, legal, and commercial leads.
  • Draft and negotiate deal documentation alongside external advisers and legal counsel.
  • Prepare and present recommendations to the CFO and senior leadership team.
  • Monitor the market and maintain a pipeline of potential targets across global markets.
  • Coordinate and execute transactions end-to-end — from target screening and first meetings, to closing and post-deal integration planning.
  • Partner with Strategy and Product teams to align M&A with long-term business goals.
  • Evaluate post-acquisition performance against original deal rationale and support integration activity as needed.

What we’re looking for:

  • ACA-qualified (or equivalent) with a background in Big 4 (TS, CF, or Audit).
  • Deal experience from investment banking, transaction services, or in-house M&A.
  • Proven ability to originate or independently lead key parts of the deal lifecycle.
  • Strong financial modelling, commercial acumen, and communication skills.
  • Comfortable operating across time zones, working at pace, and influencing senior stakeholders.
