The position is office-based in East Leeds, offering 13.46 per hour for 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm, with free on-site parking.

Qualifications

  • Maintaining accurate product information across internal systems, including pricing, descriptions, sizes and categories.
  • Supporting the merchandising team with day-to-day administration and coordination.
  • Assisting with weekly and ad hoc sales and stock reporting using Microsoft Excel.
  • Monitoring product and range performance and highlighting key trends or issues.
  • Monitoring stock levels and flagging availability concerns or potential risks.
  • Supporting stock allocations, replenishment and stock movements where required.
  • Assisting with stock takes and coordinating with warehouse and supply chain teams.
  • Liaising with merchandising, logistics and other internal departments to support product launches and deliveries.
  • Preparing reports, documents, trackers and information for trade meetings.
  • Maintaining organised records and ensuring product and stock data remains accurate.
  • Acting as a point of contact for queries relating to product and stock information.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve administrative processes and ways of working.

Are you highly organised, confident with Excel and interested in developing a career within merchandising?

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Merchandising Administrator to join a successful and growing business based in East Leeds. This is a varied role supporting the wider merchandising team and would suit someone with previous office or retail administration experience, or a recent graduate with a relevant degree who is looking to start a career in merchandising.

You'll be working with product, sales and stock data, supporting reporting and helping to ensure products and stock are managed accurately and efficiently.

The Role

About You

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, analytical and naturally detail-focused. You'll be comfortable working with data and have strong Excel skills, alongside the confidence to communicate with different teams across the business.

You may have:
  • Previous experience in administration, retail administration, merchandising or a similar environment.
  • A relevant degree and an interest in developing a career within merchandising - graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with data.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to identify and resolve issues.
  • Confident communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • An interest in retail, fashion or consumer goods would be advantageous.
