Job summary

Smiths News is seeking an Instore Merchandiser in Shrewsbury on a flexible, part-time contract. You’ll drive POS placements, stock replenishment and audits across your territory, while building strong store relationships and maintaining on-brand displays.

You’ll work 5–20 hours per week with travel time paid where eligible; a UK driving licence is required and you must have the right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Bring products to life on the shop floor and manage POS placement.
• Own your territory with stock replenishment and auditing.
• Create and maintain visually impactful displays and build relationships with store staff and managers.
• Ensure stock is replenished and displays stay on-brand.
• Plan cost-effective visit routes and maximize each store visit.

Merchandiser – Shrewsbury
Flexible, part time contract
Pay Rate – £14.24 Per hour (includes Holiday Pay)

Travel time and mileage are payable subject to eligibility

Plus: Location Allowance if applicable

Full UK Driving licence plus use of vehicle required.

About the role:

As an Instore Merchandiser, you’ll bring products to life out in the world on the shop floor. You’ll own your territory, taking care of point-of-sale placement to stock replenishment and auditing. You’ll take pride in first-class standards, creating and maintaining
visually impactful displays, and building strong relationships with store colleagues and managers. You’ll be the person who
keeps everything in order, ensuring that stock is replenished and that displays stay on-brand. You’ll take charge of your own
cost-effective journey plan and make every visit count. If you’re someone who thrives on autonomy and loves to engage with

Previous Merchandising experience would be advantageous but not mandatory. However, you will need:
