Job summary

Smiths News is seeking a Merchandiser in Aberdeen to manage in-store displays, stock replenishment and auditing across your territory. You will be responsible for arranging point-of-sale placements and maintaining brand-consistent displays while building strong relationships with store teams.

You must have a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle and be located within ~15 miles of Aberdeen. The role offers 5–20 hours weekly on a flexible, part-time contract with travel time and mileage

Qualifications

• Previous Merchandising experience would be advantageous but not mandatory.
• Must have the right to work in the UK to be considered for this position.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is required.

Responsibilities

• Own your territory, manage point-of-sale placement, stock replenishment and auditing.
• Create and maintain visually impactful displays and ensure displays stay on-brand.
• Build strong relationships with store colleagues and managers to keep stores well serviced.
• Take charge of a cost-effective journey plan and make every visit count.

Pay Rate – £14.24 Per hour (includes Holiday Pay)

Travel time and mileage are payable subject to eligibility

Plus: Location Allowance if applicable

About the role:

As an Instore Merchandiser, you’ll bring products to life out in the world on the shop floor. You’ll own your territory, taking care of point-of-sale placement to stock replenishment and auditing. You’ll take pride in first-class standards, creating and maintaining visually impactful displays, and building strong relationships with store colleagues and managers. You’ll be the person who keeps everything in order, ensuring that stock is replenished and that displays stay on-brand. You’ll take charge of your own cost-effective journey plan and make every visit count. If you’re someone who thrives on autonomy and loves to engage with others, this role is for you.
