A great opportunity for a Merchandiser to join a growing Ecommerce Retailer in the Worsley area. They sell a variety of trend-led products for the home and apparel, including bedding, throws, cushions, and loungewear. Due to strong trading figures and company investment, they are seeking to add another Merchandiser to their Merchandising team.

Job Description

The Merchandiser will be responsible for forecasting sales and intake requirements for a range of products.

Review historical sales data and record lessons learned regularly.

Liaise with factories and the Product Team to ensure shipment deadlines are met for ongoing and new lines.

Identify issues and escalate them to the Merchandise Manager, suggesting possible solutions.

Manage stock intake within set stock turn targets.

Optimize own stock to maximize availability and minimize discontinued products.

Monitor sales and stock levels across multiple sales channels.

Propose range refresh ideas, including new products and phasing out existing ones.
