Job summary

Bimplus is recruiting an MEP Quantity Surveyor to join a major infrastructure project in Birmingham. You will manage commercial aspects from procurement to final account, ensuring strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and stakeholders on a landmark national infrastructure scheme.

You should have NEC contract experience and a background in MEP/industrial construction, with a degree or equivalent qualification.

Qualifications

• Experience as an MEP Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor or specialist subcontractor.
• Strong understanding of NEC contracts and commercial management.
• Experience managing subcontractor packages and variations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment.

Responsibilities

• Subcontract procurement and package management
• Cost reporting, forecasting and budgeting
• Managing subcontractor accounts and payments
• Valuations, variations and change control
• Supporting the preparation and agreement of final accounts
• Risk and opportunity management
• Commercial support to operational project teams
• Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures
