Job summary

Bimplus, a growing electrical and building services contractor, is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to deliver commercial performance on London and South East M&E projects. This hands-on role takes responsibility for costs, valuations, variations, subcontractor accounts and final accounts while collaborating with Project Managers and senior commercial staff.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction or building services.
• Ideally from an electrical, M&E or specialist subcontractor.
• Strong commercial and numerical skills.
• Good knowledge of valuations, variations and subcontract accounts.
• Confident dealing with clients and project teams.
• Strong Excel and general IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial performance of electrical and M&E projects.
• Prepare valuations and applications for payment.
• Manage variations and change control.
• Review subcontractor quotations and payment applications.
• Support procurement and subcontractor appointments.
• Monitor project costs, budgets and margins.
• Produce cost reports and forecasts.
• Assist with contract administration and commercial risk.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Support final accounts and project close-out.
