Job summary

O’Neill and Brennan are hiring an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor for a major European data centre project. You will take commercial responsibility for MEP packages, coordinating with engineering and project teams to deliver financial success.

Relocation to Europe or a 3 weeks abroad / 1 week home rotation is supported, with accommodation, flights and living expenses covered. The role offers permanent employment with a strong overseas package and sponsorship where required, working within a

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an MEP Quantity Surveyor or similar commercial role.
• Strong QS and commercial experience with MEP services.
• Experience managing MEP subcontract packages from procurement to final account.
• Background in main contractor, developer or specialist subcontractor environments.
• Understanding of subcontract procurement, valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Ability to read MEP drawings, specifications and scopes.

Responsibilities

• Take commercial responsibility for MEP packages on a major data centre project.
• Procure and manage MEP subcontract packages from tender through to final account.
• Prepare subcontract enquiries, tender analyses, negotiations and award recommendations.
• Manage subcontractor applications, valuations, payments, variations and final accounts.
• Monitor costs, forecast expenditure and maintain commercial reporting.
• Identify commercial risks, opportunities and cost savings from drawings/specifications.
