Job summary

Tetra Tech seeks an MEP Specialist Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial management of mechanical, electrical and plumbing packages on a major Critical National Infrastructure project. You will oversee cost planning, procurement, valuations and final accounts from pre-construction to post-contract delivery in a secure environment.

The role requires a degree in Quantity Surveying, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and experience with CostX and Excel.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
• Experience with NEC/JCT or similar contracts is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial management of MEP packages from pre-construction through final account.
• Conduct cost planning, budgeting and cash flow forecasting.
• Manage valuations, variations and final accounts with precision.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants and delivery teams to ensure commercial viability.
