Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Project Manager for its Kier Mechanical & Electrical team based in Aldermaston. The role focuses on ownership of resources across the lifecycle, delivering compliant, profitable and timely workstreams while maximising customer satisfaction.

You will lead project staff, manage client relationships, and work with multidisciplinary teams to meet time, cost, quality, safety, and sustainability targets. A proactive, communicative leader with contract knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering MEP projects within a contractor.
• Valid SMSTS/CSCS card.
• Clear understanding of main contract forms (JCT, NEC) and MEPH interfaces.
• Proactive, enthusiastic and collaborative approach to manage multiple staff and tasks.
• Excellent communication with strong interpersonal and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead project staff to maximise gross margin and achieve profitability.
• Manage client relationships and handle changes to deliverables and decisions.
• Collaborate with design, commercial and construction teams to plan time, cost, quality, safety and sustainability targets.
• Implement Kier Group SHE policy, legal requirements and best practices.
• Provide regular, accurate reports and forecasts to area management, Kier Group, and customers.
