Job summary

Mech Electrics Limited is seeking a Project Document Controller for its Northwest operation in Manchester. The role focuses on taking genuine ownership of the document-control process across one or more major MEP projects, ensuring accuracy and timely information flow within a busy project team.

You will work with engineers, project managers, design teams, subcontractors and clients to ensure information is complete, correctly reviewed, and properly recorded for right-time access.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Document Controller within construction, MEP or a similar project environment.
• Ability to manage drawings, technical submissions and approval workflows.
• Familiarity with common data environments and revision control.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain document-control procedures at project start.
• Manage drawings, specifications, RFIs, reports and schedules.
• Maintain document registers, workflows and revision histories.
