Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer for its Building Services MEP team in Manchester. The role involves electrical design, calculations and drawing input across diverse UK projects, including residential, education and commercial schemes.

You will work within multidisciplinary teams to deliver compliant, coordinated designs. The position offers hybrid working with approximately three days in the studio, a competitive salary of £45k with excellent benefits,

Qualifications

• Experience as Electrical Engineer in Building Services / MEP.
• Understanding of electrical building services design and engineering principles.
• Experience designing power distribution, lighting, fire alarms and communications.
• Ability to produce and interpret technical calculations, drawings and engineering documentation.

Responsibilities

• Electrical Building Services Design across various building projects.
• Support design and analysis of power distribution, lighting, fire alarm and communication systems.
• Use industry-standard software to perform calculations and analyses.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings and tender documentation.
• Coordinate with architects, structures and contractors for integrated designs.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and standards.
