Job summary

COLEMAN JAMES LTD is seeking an experienced MEP Design Manager to lead building services delivery on major projects. Based in or around Newcastle, you will travel across site locations to drive design, programmes and commissioning.

You will manage design consultants and sub-contractors, ensure safety and technical standards, and contribute to value engineering. Chartered membership or active pursuit is required.

Qualifications

• Experience of managing the design consultants and sub-contractors at project level.
• Experience of working in the Education, Health and Commercial sectors.
• Holding Chartered membership of a Professional Institute or working towards gaining membership.

Responsibilities

• Managing the delivery of Building Services elements of construction projects.
• Ensuring Building Services Programmes are delivered in a customer-focused and cost-effective way.
• Co-ordinate the activities of the Building Services element of the Design Team.
• Lead commissioning of systems and equipment and coordinate client demonstrations.
