MEP Design Manager

Location: Canary Wharf, London

Contract Type: Permanent

Salter Grange is currently recruiting for an experienced MEP Design Manager for a leading developer renowned for delivering high-quality residential construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the MEP design process from concept to completion for a residential construction project
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop integrated design solutions
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and codes
• Manage and coordinate the work of external MEP consultants and contractors
• Conduct regular design reviews and provide technical guidance to the project team
• Oversee the preparation of detailed design drawings, specifications, and documentation
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of design milestones
• Identify and mitigate design risks and issues
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the design team

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in MEP design management within the residential construction sector
• Strong knowledge of building regulations, standards, and codes
• Excellent project management and organisational skills
• Ability to lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team
• Proficiency in design software and tools
