Job summary

CDM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Building Services Manager to oversee MEP across multiple construction projects in the North East. You will ensure high-quality service delivery, meet deadlines and stay within budget on a variety of commercial, residential, healthcare and education schemes.

The role requires proven leadership, deep knowledge of MEP design, and the ability to coordinate design teams, subcontractors, and site teams while maintaining safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Building Services Manager in a national contractor or large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems and building services design.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Degree or HNC/HND in Building Services Engineering or related discipline preferred.
• Chartered Engineer status or working toward it is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead management of MEP services across multiple construction projects.
• Collaborate with design teams, subcontractors and suppliers to meet specs and goals.
• Oversee installation and commissioning of building services with safety compliance.
• Monitor timelines, budgets and quality, adjusting as needed.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and internal teams to resolve issues.
