Job summary

Arup seeks an intermediate Building Services BIM Technician to join our Building Engineering London group, handling MEP BIM deliverables on prestigious UK and international projects. You will produce drawings and schedules and support engineers in design teams across multiple sectors.

The role includes BIM process development, drawing/model checks, and mentoring colleagues. You will manage projects to time and budget while advancing Arup’s BIM standards.

Qualifications

• HNC in Building Services, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Eng Tech qualification or willingness to work towards it with support.
• Proven delivery experience in building projects.
• Understanding of building services design principles.
• Experience in a BIM environment.
• Proficient with Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Produce MEP BIM deliverables across diverse projects.
• Create drawings and schedules; check drawings for accuracy.
• Assist in BIM implementation and share knowledge with others.
• Develop team members; provide guidance, training and feedback.
• Manage multiple projects to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Contribute to development of best practices and processes.
