Job summary

Bimplus in London is seeking experienced BIM Modellers to join a growing digital engineering team supporting a major infrastructure project.

The role focuses on 3D modelling of MEP systems, collaboration across disciplines and delivery of coordinated Bentley models, with a hybrid London-based office.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a BIM Modeller within Building Services/MEP.
• Strong 3D modelling capabilities on major infrastructure or building projects.
• Proficiency with Bentley tools: OpenBuildings Designer and MicroStation.
• Experience modelling complex MEP systems.
• Understanding of BIM workflows, model coordination and information management.
• Experience with Raceway modelling and Bentley iTwin/Digital Twin environments.
• Experience on rail, transport, infrastructure or large-scale projects.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650 standards and common data environments.

Job description

We are currently seeking experienced BIM Modellers to join a growing digital engineering team supporting a major infrastructure project in London.

This is an excellent opportunity for BIM professionals with strong MEP services experience and a passion for digital delivery, 3D modelling and collaborative engineering environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed 3D models for complex MEP systems.
• Produce coordinated models and drawings using Bentley software.
• Support multidisciplinary design teams throughout project delivery.
• Participate in model reviews, clash detection and design coordination meetings.
• Contribute to BIM standards, procedures and best practice initiatives.
• Work closely with engineers, designers and BIM leads to ensure accurate and timely model delivery.
• Support digital engineering initiatives and emerging technologies across the project.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a BIM Modeller within the Building Services / MEP sector.
• Strong 3D modelling capabilities on major infrastructure or building projects.
• Proficiency with the Bentley toolset, including:
• OpenBuildings Designer (OBD)
• MicroStation
• Experience modelling complex MEP systems.
• Good understanding of BIM workflows, model coordination and information management.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary design teams.
• Experience with Raceway modelling.
• Exposure to Bentley iTwin / Digital Twin environments.
• Previous experience working on rail, transport, infrastructure or other large-scale engineering projects.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650 standards and common data environments.
