Job summary

Alternative Heat Ltd in Solihull, near Birmingham, is seeking an experienced MEP BIM Engineer to deliver prefabricated solutions and decarbonisation-driven projects. You will produce and coordinate fully integrated MEP models, leading coordination workshops, managing the CDE, and supporting offsite fabrication and lean construction.

Collaborating with design engineers, project managers and site teams, you will ensure clash-free models, assist with handover, and drive embodied carbon reduction

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage fully coordinated MEP models using Revit and Navisworks.
• Prepare LOD500 and fabrication-ready models for offsite prefabrication.
• Lead model coordination workshops with consultants and site teams.
• Manage the Common Data Environment with version control.
• Update models with redlines and site markups during construction.
• Produce as-installed models for commissioning and handover.
• Support decarbonisation goals by tracking embodied carbon in BIM data.
