Do you have experience supporting individuals who find it difficult to build social and emotional relationships?
In recent years, there has been a significant focus on supporting the mental health of pupils impacted by adverse childhood experiences. We are currently seeking practitioners to support these pupils on a 1:1 basis for the rest of the academic year across various schools in the Taunton area. These opportunities may lead to a permanent contract with the right school.
As a Youth Mental Health Support Worker, you will support pupils both within and outside the classroom, including running activities. You will work alongside the class teacher to ensure appropriate support is in place for the students.
This position is full-time, with comprehensive support and training provided. There are also opportunities to undertake additional training during your role.
This role is ideal for someone with experience supporting pupils in school or alternative settings, though we are also open to candidates without this experience. This is a great opportunity to secure your ideal role in a school, with an immediate start in May 2025.
