A Special Mental Health School in Trowbridge is looking for a resilient and bubbly graduate to join their team as a Mental Health Teaching Assistant, starting as soon as next week. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a graduate seeking valuable experience in mental health, psychology, speech and language, behaviour therapy, or social work.

As a Mental Health Teaching Assistant, you will support children aged 5 to 16 facing various social, emotional, mental health, and behavioural challenges. Many students find it difficult to manage their emotions and form healthy relationships. You will serve as a positive role model, supporting social skills development, emotional regulation, and encouraging healthy interactions with peers. A patient and empathetic approach is essential.

This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to kick-start their careers in mental health or psychology. You will gain practical experience working with children facing significant challenges, applying your psychological knowledge in real-world scenarios.
