Teaching Assistant for Children with Mental Health Needs – BATH

ASAP Start

This role supports young children and adolescents aged 8 to 18 with trauma, mental health, and behavioural challenges, including Looked After Children. The position is based at an inclusive specialist school in Bath, which caters to children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health Needs.

The school seeks Teaching Assistants to support children with behaviour and mental health issues. Graduates in Psychology, Counselling, or Criminology are preferred, but relevant experience is also considered. The role offers full-time hours, excellent transport links, and the opportunity to work alongside therapists and psychologists, gaining practical experience with young people with significant needs, including conditions like Autism and ADHD.
