Northern Healthcare Limited is hiring Mental Health Support Workers at Amy Johnson House, Hull. This 24-hour supported living service helps adults with mental health needs, autism and learning disabilities. You’ll play a vital role while gaining training and career progression from day one.

• Desirable previous experience in care or mental health support.

Responsabilités

• Promoting independence: Supporting people to develop everyday living skills and build confidence.
• Supporting daily routines: Helping with cooking, meal preparation, budgeting, household tasks and personal organisation.
• Encouraging healthy lifestyles: Supporting individuals to manage appointments, medication and their general wellbeing in line with care plans and training.
• Creating meaningful experiences: Supporting people to take part in activities, discover new interests and enjoy everything their local community has to offer.
• Building connections: Helping people access education, employment, volunteering opportunities and social experiences.
• Providing emotional support: Listening without judgement, offering reassurance and helping individuals work through challenges.
• Supporting recovery: Encouraging people to achieve their personal goals, celebrate progress and take positive steps towards greater independence.
• Working together: Communicating effectively with colleagues and maintaining accurate records to ensure consistent, high-quality support.
