Job summary
Northern Healthcare is recruiting for a Mental Health Support Worker at our Roby Road flagship service in Knowsley. You will join a new team from day one to support adults on their recovery journey in a modern environment, delivering person-centred care with kindness and respect.
We offer competitive pay from £12.91 per hour, full training from day one, and clear career progression. You’ll work as part of a supportive team, gaining valuable experience in mental health support and service
Qualifications
- Experience in care, support work or mental health services is desirable.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to pass Enhanced DBS check (funded by employer).
Responsibilities
- Help adults with mental health needs to develop daily living skills.
- Assist with meal preparation and cooking.
- Manage appointments and medications.
- Support home maintenance and household tasks.
- Encourage budgeting and money management.
- Facilitate access to education, employment, volunteering and community activities.
- Promote emotional wellbeing and recovery.
- Provide person-centered support, with training provided.
