Your role

Rethink Mental Illness is hiring a Bank Mental Health Support Worker to join our inspiring and friendly team at Lindsay House.

Lindsay House is a 17-bed supported living service registered under CQC. It provides support to individuals with a primary mental health diagnosis.

Overview of a Mental Health Support Worker role:

You will offer support to people affected by mental illness, helping them regain confidence and participate in social and workplace activities. You will work closely with service users to help them achieve personal goals and access the support they need for their recovery.

Essential skills and experience required:

  • Transferable Life/Work Experience: Valuable experiences from your personal or professional life that can be applied to this role.
  • Listening and Empathy: Good listening skills, empathy, understanding, kindness, patience, and willingness to learn.
  • Values Alignment: Behaviors consistent with our charity's values, including hope, understanding, expertise, equity, commitment, passion, and openness.
